NASM – CPT, USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach, CF-L1
About Kamili Fitness:
“I started the company to be a resource and avenue for people to better know their bodies, movement techniques, so they can reach their personal goals quicker! Whether that personal goal is strength, endurance, flexibility, weight loss, more muscle mass, etc. My experience is some of the best around and I can get you there.”
I started personal training in Northern Virginia five years ago, I’ve coached CrossFit for four years, and was a part-time Strength and Conditioning Coach at Georgetown for two years. I bring a wide range of experience and knowledge to the community. I have worked with all populations from clients as old as 91, children as young as five, Division 1 athletes, and every age and ability level in between.
Health and Fitness has always been an important part of my life. I lived a very active lifestyle even as a child. Growing up in Alexandria, VA, it was always apparent to my friends and family from a young age that I would someday work in the fitness industry. I played soccer, varsity basketball, baseball, tennis, was varsity track and field (high jump and discus mainly). I had a routine from age ten until high school of doing 500 Pushups and 500 Situps on weekdays, and upping it to 1000 Situps on weekends, since, ya know, I had more time. I graduated from the University of Virginia in 2007 with a bachelors degree in English. After working as a Congressional Liaison for the International Code Council and then for the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement, I found my way back to my calling of personal training in 2013.
I am extremely excited to continue my fitness journey in Charlottesville, VA and spread knowledge to a whole new community! Feel free to contact me for advice, personal training, or online training! And stay tuned for blog posts and other informative content.
